FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: in electronic relay containing housing, printed-circuit boards for installation of relay elements, replaceable inserts and contact group, there is also permanent storage unit located on individual printed-circuit board and containing combination of output data and electrically programmable by means of burnout of fuse links. Address part of permanent storage unit is intended to receive and process electric signals, and combination of input signals of electronic relay determines the address at which earlier set combination of output data required for generation of control signals is located. Use of four-output microchip is allowed as inserts: input, output, power, earth, and number of inserts corresponds to the number of input signals. Relay can be equipped with resistors with design nominal values corresponding to operating parametres of relay.

EFFECT: achieving flexibility of electronic relay with possibility of its being used at various process chains, improving quick operation of electronic relay and simplifying its design as well.
