FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to round-, square- and rectangular-section tube rolling. Proposed unit comprises carriage, mechanism to lock tubes in carriage, tubes separation mechanism, electric and hydraulic devices and automatic control elements. Tube separation mechanism consists of horizontal and vertical groove-forming sub mechanisms and twisting sub mechanism. Groove-forming sub mechanisms are provided with hydraulic cylinders with extendable rod with its end accommodating "П"-shaped cutter holders. Cutting is performed by cutters flush-fitted in grooves of "П"=shaped holder working surfaces. Note here that said working surfaces are flat, face each other and stay in constant contact. Twisting mechanism is made up of gearing wherein final movable link hub with maximum torque comprises so-called forming blade with central bore sized to rolled tube. Cutting edges of cutters adjoin working surface of their "П"-shaped holders.
EFFECT: expanded performances of rolling line, reduced dead expenses.
