FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: slime is withdrawn from well. Facial characters of slime of each well are described, charted and there is plotted a correlation net. Also, data of the correlation net and the description chart are compared. There is revealed variability of cross-section. Thinning-out or divergence for part of reservoirs and change of thickness of facial zones relative to their forecast values are predicted. There is plotted a diagram of productivity index corresponding to a trend of key facial production characters. Conclusions on qualitative composition of a well, i.e. presence of oil saturated layers, are made on values of the diagram of the productivity index. Coefficients of fluorescence and bituminisation, density, dimension of slime particles, degree of roundness and grades of grains are used as key facial characters at plotting the diagram of the productivity index.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in determination of productivity of well layers at specification of qualitative composition of rock in geological cross-section.
