FIELD: soil or rock drilling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geological tracking of well drilling for correction of trajectory of horizontal wellbore borehole in the target interval of sedimentary rocks on the basis of elemental analysis of slime. Method of horizontal well shaft boring in target range of sedimentary rocks based on element analysis of sludge involves obtaining during drilling of inclination and well logging data from the bottomhole of location of drilling tool, extraction and washing of slurry from drilling fluid with subsequent drying, correction of trajectory of shafting along target interval. Prior to drilling, target interval is divided into patches and sub-patches using logging data, microdescription of core and element composition of rocks, investigated with spacing of not more than 0.3 m. Based on seismic prospecting data and selected patches and sub-patches of target interval in all wells of the deposit by method of layer-by-layer deepening, three-dimensional structural framework of the target interval is constructed, and the planned profile of the horizontal wellbore is selected. Barrel passes through interval of cut, containing maximum volume of headers. Elemental composition of the slurry is quickly analyzed to determine slurry affiliation to a particular patch of the cut, and based on the logging data and the determined patch of the cut, a decision is made on the need to correct the trajectory of the horizontal wellbore.
EFFECT: high accuracy of guiding a horizontal shaft in target patches by accurate determination of the position of the drilling tool in the section of deposits, to minimize risks of flight to non-target patches of the section, loss of the shaft during collapse of unstable rocks, high efficiency of HFF, start-up rate and operating time of the well.
