FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, to visualisation of diseases of human maxillary sinuses. Via catheter into examined area introduced is light guide from optic fibre, forming conductor for lighting the surface of maxillary sinus with blue light, and receiver of reflected light, from which information is transmitted to decoder and monitor, for representation of scanned surface. Picture of maxillary sinus tissue affection is visualised by changes in colour shades of some or other regions, where healthy regions have pink colour, erythemas and ulcers - brown colour, necrotic tissues- black colour, neoplasm - yellow-green colour.
EFFECT: method increases accuracy of diagnostics with objective determination of affection degree of organ or its area, differentiation of cell and tissue condition, without risk of side effects.
