FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: gyro azimuth compass (GAC) with automatically corrected latitude of fix comprises operator board with units designed to manually input ship speed and latitude of fix, electronic unit, outer data source and central unit with gyro sensitive element. Note that GAC additionally comprises summer, amplifier and integrator. Beside, GAC incorporates GPS satellite navigation receiver-indicator.

EFFECT: independent automatic correction of sip speed and latitude of fix, accurate generation of latitude correction moment.
