FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of navigational instrument making of movable objects and may find application in all regions of the World Ocean, including high and polar latitudes. A directional gyroscope compass additionally comprises a device for automatic correction of a vessel fix latitude and a computing device for all-latitude correction of the directional gyroscope compass, generating signals proportional to a vertical component of an angular speed of the Earth rotation and a vertical component of an angular speed of vessel motion along the parallel line. The sum of these signals provides for generation of a moment of azimuthal latitude correction of a sensitive element in a central device. The computing device generates voltage proportional to the angular speed of vessel motion relative to the Earth axle, which, when integrated in the integrator, sets a longitude increment, and when summing this increment with data of the initial longitude - generates a current fix longitude.
EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities due to development of a geographic course in all latitudes, including high and polar latitudes.
