METHOD OF TRANSMITTING DISCRETE INFORMATION IN FEEDBACK SYSTEMS Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC H04L1/16 H04L9/00

Abstract RU 2419992 C1

FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: at the transmitting end of communication line input signal is divided into characters of n bit length, discrete message α is formed in a form of sequence consisting of N characters, the copy of discrete message β by coding with the aid of summation by module P=2n of each character αi, where i=1…N, with βi-1 character according to expression βii-1+α(mod P), is kept in memory and transmitted by communication channel. Note that, at the transmitting end of communication line there performed is preliminary division of discrete message α and its copy β to K units with M characters each and rearrangement of these units into M units with K characters each. At the receiving end of communication line there performed are reverse operations and the process of restoring single disturbed characters of regrouped discrete message a and its copy β. In case of error detection the information for retransmission of regrouped discrete message and its copy is transferred by feedback line.

EFFECT: provision of possibility to correct two or more related characters of discrete message or its copy that were received by error appearing in the channel with concentrated interferences.
