FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: illuminator comprises a semiconductor laser and a three-channel optical system. The first channel is a mirror-lens, the second and third channels are lenses lying in the central shielding zone of the first channel. The following relationships are satisfied: f'1 > f'2 > f'3 , where f'1, f'2, f'3 are focal distances of the first, second and third channels of the optical system.
EFFECT: high rate of detecting objects owing to simultaneous provision of three illumination fields and simple design due to absence of moving elements in the optical system.
