FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: in the method, when a pen is lying next to a touch-sensitive surface, the sensitivity of the surface to input without using the pen is blocked, reduced or changed in another way. Signals of input performed without using the pen may be ignored when the pen lies inside a proximity zone defined near the touch-sensitive surface. Threshold requirements for input without using the pen are set up depending on the point of the touch-sensitive surface where input is performed. Different sensitivity thresholds for input without using the pen are calibrated, as well as the dimensions and/or shape of the proximity zone.
EFFECT: reduced effect of unintentional input performed without using a pen on a sensor device.
