FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, nephrology and can be used in treatment of acute nephritis. Biochemical indices of patient's blood - concentration of interferon-γ (IFN-γ, (pg/ml)), immunoglobulin E (IgE, (unit/ml)) and interleukin-4 (IL-4, (pg/ml)) is determined. Obtained results are substituted in formula of discriminant function (DF): DF=21.85×IFN-γ+3.10×lgE+29.91×IL-4-5435.36 and development of inadequate response to standard therapy is predicted in case if DF value is negative.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict favourable or unfavourable development of pathologic process in response to standard treatment with 90% probability, to intensify treatment in case of necessity, reducing probability of early exacerbations of chronic nephritis.
