FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely nephrology, and aims at predicting the clinical course of post-infection glomerulonephritis. Method includes immunosorbent analysis of biosubstrate on content of cytokines – interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and receptor antagonist IL-1β (RAIL-1β) in disease onset. Biosubstrate is urine, wherein the prognostic index is determined relative to IL-1β/RAIL-1β. If the prognostic index is less than 0.000094 in the postinfection glomerulonephritis patients, the possibility of the chronic course of the disease is predicted, and with IL-1β/RAIL-1β index valuehigher than 0.019, but less than 0.056, predicting acute postinfection glomerulonephritis.
EFFECT: using the given method enables obtaining an early prognosis of the clinical course of the postinfectious glomerulonephritis.
