FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of dry salt aerosol and may be used for rooms asepsis and inhalation. Proposed device comprises compressor connected via tubular air duct with mincing chamber partially filled with common salt granules and communicated via inlet with atmosphere. Note here that tubular air duct is immersed into layer of common salt granule layer down to 0.15 of mincing chamber height, while common salt granule layer height makes 0.3 of the height of aforesaid chamber.
EFFECT: low power consumption and noise in production of aerosol with 3-15 mcm-size particles.
