SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel derivatives of 2-(phenyl)-1H-phenanthro[9,10-d]imidazole of general formula B 
, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, where R3 denotes 
and R6 is selected from a group comprising (2) F; (3) Cl; (4) Br; (5) I; (8) C3-6cycloalkyl; (9) R12 -O-; R12 is selected from a group comprising (2) C1-4alkyl, (3) C3-6cycloalkyl; (4) C3-6cycloalkyl-C1-4alkyl-; said C1-4alkyl is optionally substituted with 1-3 substitutes independently selected from a group comprising F, CI, Br and I. The invention also relates to specific compounds of general formula B, a pharmaceutical composition based on compounds of formula B, and a method of treatment using compounds of formula B.
EFFECT: novel derivatives having inhibitory activity on microsomal prostaglandin E synthase-1.
