METHOD FOR EXPOSING AIR-DROPLET DISPERSIONS TO ELECTROPHYSICAL ACTION Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC E01H13/00

Abstract RU 2421566 C2

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method of exposing air-droplet dispersions to electrophysical action involves exposing liquid particles in air to elastic vibrations whose frequency varies and which are directed on a fog accumulation. The dispersions are exposed to ultrasonic vibrations at frequency ranging from 70 to 20 kHz with intensity of not less than 135 dB using a planar radiator. The radiator is circular or rectangular shaped with possibility of bending vibration. Vibrations are at frequencies which are multiples of the fundamental frequency. The radiator is excited by a longitudinally oscillating piezoelectric transducer which is acoustically connected to the radiator. The piezoelectric transducer is powered by an electronic ultrasound generator. The dispersions are simultaneously exposed to vibrations generated by both sides of the planar radiator.

EFFECT: efficient dispersion of fog.
