FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: mobile terminal has a housing which has an opening, and a selective input device. The selective input device includes a bushing fit into the opening on the housing such that at least part of the peripheral part of the bushing protrudes from the housing. A capacitive layer is embedded into the peripheral part of the bushing. An elastic ring is fixed on the peripheral part of the bushing and is operatively connected to the capacitive layer for generation of signals when the ring moves relative the bushing. A controller is operatively connected to the input device for receiving and processing signals.
EFFECT: reduced size of the mobile terminal.
