FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of authenticating a registered user device. Mobile device comprises a transceiver for mobile communication and a controller configured to execute function for authentication of a registered user device. Device has only one operating element, functionality of said one operational element is limited by activation and deactivation of authentication function. Authentication function consists in detecting transceiver in mobile communication network and enabling detection of active state and/or location of mobile device through a mobile communication network. Operating element and a transceiver are single controller data input and output ports.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of safety during authentication.
