SUBSTANCE: system includes at least one wireless transfer/reception unit (WTRU) and at least one node-B (NB). Condition of activation or deactivation is determined for each of multiple HARQ processes. A signal, which includes activation or deactivation condition for each of HARQ processes is sent to WTRU. In response to signal reception, WTRU activates or deactivates a specific HARQ protocol in compliance with condition of activation or deactivation for each of HARQ processes contained in the received signal. Activation of HARQ processes is considered for unplanned transfers.
EFFECT: optimised throughput capacity in unplanned transfers.
