SUBSTANCE: systems and strategies are described, which facilitate reliable request of upperlink resources in wireless communication environment. In particular, mechanisms are provided for reliable requests of upperlink resources at the moments, when resources of the upperlink are not retained. The mobile device sends a request of upperlink resources along a feedback information channel, traditionally used for channel quality indicators. The mobile device uses special code words reserved for requests along the upperlink.
EFFECT: increased spectral density of capacity in feedback information channel to reduce frequency of channel errors, when reserved code words are sent.
