FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to production of wire. Cross section of proposed wire comprises core enveloped by reinforced micro continuity layer produced in drawing wire billet with tensile strength of 16-18 kgf/mm2. Reinforced layer density and micro continuity exceed those of aforesaid core. Wire features diameter of 0.49-0.51 mm and comprises the following components in wt %, i.e. iron - 0.5-0.7; silicon - 0.2-0.4; cerium, lanthanum, praseodymium - 6.0-10.0; admixtures - 0.1-0.3, and aluminium making the rest.
EFFECT: higher surface micro continuity, density and electric conductivity.
