FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water transport and concerns technique for conversion of natural energy specifically energy of sea currents and using it for ship propulsion. Method for conversion of sea currents energy into ship propulsion force consists in flowing around by sea current several circular cylinders with vertical axis of rotation which cylinders are installed in transversal through channels of ship hull. Herewith, circular cylinder is rotated clockwise when sea current comes from the left board and counterclockwise when sea current comes from the right board.
EFFECT: invention permits to provide possibility of ship propulsion without using conventional energy sources.
