FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method of gapless compensation of temperature deformations of a cement-concrete base of a highway consists in its full separation without change of a cross section with two triangular cement-concrete boards of a compensator, tops of which are directed towards each other, and their tightening to each other by means of a through traction rod with provision of gapless sliding perpendicularly to direction of axis of a highway base. Triangular boards with cut tops of the compensator are arranged at a distance, value of which exceeds value of their joint movements under action of temperature-deformation elongation of a base. Between side surfaces of compensators and parts of a separated base of a highway there are might be antifriction pads arranged or an antifriction lubricant, and the space formed with cut tops may be filled with a putty on the surface.
EFFECT: absence of gaps in the highway base increases its durability and comfort of transport movement, there is no necessity to cut expansion joints in cement-concrete bases of highways in construction.
