FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in selection of units, their placement into water and observation of their decay process. Besides, soil units prior to placement into water are put into cells, which are close in size to units size, and there are holes in their bottom complying with cell size. At the bottom of a cell there is a wire that divides a cell into two parts, supporting non-decayed units and making it possible for units that decayed in water to drop out of the cell. At the same time the units destruction in water is confirmed through visualisation of wires in cells. Air-dry soil units prior to placement into a cassette with cells are moistened in a capillary manner and soaked in moist condition for several days.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase accuracy of soil unit water resistance definition.
