SUBSTANCE: device to evaluate quality of fibre or bast of fibre crops comprises a frame with actuators fixed on it in the form of three pairs of rollers, two of which are installed at the inlet to the device, and the third one is at the outlet, and a computer-linked system of properties monitoring in the form of a motion sensor intended to monitor gap between rollers, when there is an analysed material in it, and a system of its colour monitoring. At the same time at the lower rollers of the second and third pair of rollers there is a continuous conveyor to move the material under a camera to detect colour parameters, and in front of the first pair of rollers, the upper roll of which is connected to a motion sensor, there is a limiter of handful width.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase accuracy to detect quality of fibre or bast of fibre crops and to reduce duration of analysis.
