FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention corresponds to unit for protection of tank for liquid heating from overheat. The unit consists of case of regulator (1). Single integrated bimetallic element of double action (2) is installed on an upper side of regulator case (1), where single integrated bimetallic element of double action (2) includes two integrated and relatively independent switches arranged on a section of a bimetallic band. External pusher (3) of both switches travels when overheat occurs. Two groups of switching contacts (6) are positioned on case of regulator (1). Each group of switching contacts (6) interacts with external pusher (3) of a corresponding switch. External pusher (3) at its transfer disconnects corresponding group of switching contacts (6) and blocks supply of electric current to heater of tank for liquid heating.
EFFECT: unit of protection with reliable operation; increased service life of unit.
