FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of porous fillers, particularly, to processing of heat production ashes into light filler for concrete. Method is intended for production of ash sintered-pore gravel on the basis of ash containing 1 to 25 % of residual carbon. It comprises proportioning ash, solid fuel and additives, their mixing, granulation of obtained charge, placing crude granules onto conveyor grid over underlayer from burnt product, firing them by burners and roasting obtained charge layer-by-layer via air leak through layer due to rarefaction in vacuum chambers ahead of grid fire-grate bars, subsequent sorting of firing product to sizes and re-sorting fraction of products as pudding rock. Pudding rock is subjected to grinding to particle size of smaller than 5 mm and used as stub in charge granulation. Granulated charge is classified to fractions of 9-12 and 12-15 mm and placed on conveyor grid over underlayer. Note here that coarse fraction is laid over fine fraction.
