FIELD: industry of building materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves grinding of raw materials and solid fuel, mixing the components of raw materials, granulating the mixture of raw materials with introduced solid fuel and heat-treating the granules. The cores of granules 5-7 mm in size are formed from 70-80% of mixture of raw material components and the entire amount of charged fuel, fraction ≅ 1,2 mm followed by applying the remaining mixture of raw materials to the cores thus ensuring an optimum granulometric composition of the charge, and intensifying combustion processes in solid fuel. All this improves sintering of granules. In the course of the first 2-4 min the charge granules are heat-treated at a heat delivery of (5-7)·103kcal/m2 min and an air consumption of (0.2-0.4) nm/s. During the next 4-6 min they are treated at a heat delivery of (20-30)·103kcal/m2 min and an air consumption of (0.5-0.8) nm/s. Then the delivery of heat is gradually stopped within 4-6 min and the consumption of air is maintained at (0.4-0.5) nm/s. After 5-25 min it is increased to (0.8-1.2) nm/s thus intensifying heat exchange during sintering of granules and creating optimum heat treatment conditions. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
