FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns chemical engineering of high-molecular compounds. Described are copolymers based on derivatives of substituted cyclopentanone-bithiophene of general formula (I), where X denotes S or a residue of a dicyanovinyl group of formula (II-a), or a monocyanovinyl group of general formula (II-b), of a ring residue selected from: dioxalane of general formula (II-c), tithiolane of general formula (II-d), dioxane of general formula (II-e), dithiane of general formula (II-f), where R1 is CF3, F, a C2-C8 perfluoroalkyl radical or an ester group - COO-A, where A is an alkyl radical C1-C20, a possibly branched or arylmethylene fragment which contains 7-20 carbon atoms in the structure; R2 is H or a CH3 radical; Ar denotes identical or different aromatic or heteroatomatic fragments selected from: a substituted or unsubstituted 1,4-phenylene of general formula (III-a), substituted cyclopentabithiophene of general formula (III-b), substituted or unsubstituted thiophene of general formula (III-c), substituted or unsubstituted 2,2'-bithiophene of general formula (III-d), where R3 and R4 denote H, F or a substitute selected from: possibly branched C1-C20 alkyl groups, R5, R6 denote a substitute selected from: C6-C20 alkyl groups, R7, R8, R9, R10, R11 R12 denote H or a substitute selected from: possibly branched C1-C20 alkyl groups. Described also is a method for synthesis of said copolymers, involving reaction of a compound of general formula (IV), where Y denotes a boric acid residue or ester thereof, or Br or J; X assumes values given above, with a reagent of general formula (V) under Suzuki reaction conditions, where Z denotes Br or J, provided that Y is a boric acid residue or ester thereof, or a boric acid residue or ester thereof, provided that Y denotes Br or J; Ar assumes values given above.
EFFECT: obtaining novel copolymers based on derivatives of substituted cyclopentanone-bithiophene, having a set or properties enabling their use as functional materials for organic electronics or photonics.
