SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing an elastomeric mixture and to substances for enhancing processing properties when using elastomeric mixtures in articles. The method of preparing an elastomeric mixture involves bringing an isobutylene-based elastomer into contact with processing property enhancing substance which contains a functionalised polymer, having at least one halogen group and having molecular weight M_n between 450 and 5000. The elastomeric mixture is used to make articles such as the inner lining tubeless tyres.

EFFECT: invention improves the method of preparing elastomeric mixtures and articles from said mixtures with low air permeability and retention of physical properties.
