FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to materials intended for production of permanent magnets from powder materials. It may be used in production of cermet and plastic metal permanent magnets with high residual induction. First, powder of magnetically soft material with saturation magnetisation not lower than that of single-axis magnetic material powder is arranged in matrix from nonmagnetic elastic material. Then, matrix is filled with single-axis magnetic material powder and layer of powder from magnetically soft material. Magnetically soft powder occupies at least two fifths of matrix volume. Matrix is sealed and produced briquette is oriented by pulsed magnetic field and, thereafter, layers of magnetically soft material are removed.

EFFECT: higher degree of orientation.
