FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular to methods for producing anisotropic sintered permanent magnets from Sm-Co alloys. Can be used in mechanical engineering, instrumentation, electrical and electronic industries. An alloy of the Sm-Co type is ground to an average particle size of 3.5-5.0 mcm in a mill under a layer of inert liquid. Wet powder is structured in an intermediate vessel made of non-conductive and non-magnetic material with simultaneous squeezing by exposure to 2-4 pulses of a pulsed magnetic field of 3-5 T. Pre-compression of the powder is carried out in a non-magnetic mold with simultaneous orientation in a static magnetic field of 1-2 T, perpendicular to the pressing direction. Drying of the pressed compact is carried out in a vacuum, followed by passivation of the dry workpiece in an inert gas at 100-130 kPa. Additional compaction of the compact is carried out by cold isostatic pressing at 240-400 MPa, and sintering is carried out in an oxygen-free environment.
