FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: elevator door comprises two groups of door segments (20, 20', 21, 21'). Note here that segments of every group extend in opening and always move in one direction together. Segments move on two spaced apart parallel rails 2 and rolls 7 and are arranged in two planes to be held and move via suspensions (6, 6', 8, 8') on rails (2, 2') by means of rolls (7). Width of door segments (20, 21 or 20', 21') of one group differs from that of another group. Two central door segments (21, 21') of different width move in one plane and their faces adjoin in closed state. For both segments (21, 21') to slightly open, ledge (11) is provided on suspension (8') narrower segment (21) in zone of which at least one roll (7) is located while suspension (8) for wider segment (21) comprises mating recess (12).
EFFECT: higher stability of door segment.
