SUBSTANCE: method for treatment and prevention of rickets with piglets involves introducing supplementary feeds containing macro-, microelements and vitamins. Additionally (against the backdrop of their application) one introduces into the animal ration (from the moment of weaning) hydrolysed milk whey in an amount of 2 ml per 1 kg of body weight once a day for preventive purposes during two weeks, for treatment purposes - during a month.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of rickets treatment and prevention, exclusion of mineral metabolism deficit due to direct involvement of remedy components in the process of metabolism, indirect action due to gut microflora normalisation and improvement of the digestive system functioning.
