SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device to supply liquid (32), in particular, in a throughput dishwashing machine. The method to supply liquid (32) to objects (16) cleaned in an automatic cleaning machine, in particular, in a throughput dishwashing machine, having at least one washing zone and final rinsing zone, besides, objects (16) to be cleaned are cleaned in at least one washing zone and are exposed to rinsing in the final rinsing zone. The liquid (32) is supplied to cleaned objects (16) with the help of a sprinkling device (26.1, 26.2, 26.3, …26.n), which starts according to time, and in which sprinklers (26.1, 26.2, 26.3, 26.n) start individually selectively in compliance with at least one specified schedule. The liquid (32) to be drained is supplied to cleaned objects (16) in a time-alternating sequence by connection of sprinklers (26.1, 26.2, 26.3, … 26.n) opposite to direction (12) of feeding objects to be cleaned (16).
EFFECT: reduced quantity of liquid for final rinsing and/or improvement of final rinsing effect.
