SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a water-conductive household appliance such as a dishwashing or a washing machine that contains at least one heating element (12) intended for washing liquid heating and one accumulation reservoir (19) for washing liquid storage; provided for is a program for the accumulation reservoir cleaning in the course of execution whereof the accumulation reservoir (19) is at least temporarily and at least partly filled with washing liquid heated by the heating element (12); during execution of the accumulation reservoir cleaning program washing liquid at least temporarily flows down along the washing chamber (1) side wall (20) into the sump (11).
