FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurosurgery and neurology. For this purpose under fluoroscopic control determined is point of introduction of needle-trepan, which is located 2-3 cm more laterally than spinous process of vertebra S1 in projection of its diapophysis base. After that, needle-trepan is introduced into diapophysis base. It is introduced at angle of 30°-45° to horizontal plane and 15°-30° to axial plane, medially to upper edge of posterior parts of body of S1 vertebra through articular process base and root of arch of vertebra into intervertebral disc L5-S1. Method makes it possible to provide optimal and low-traumatic access to intervertebral disc L5-S1.
EFFECT: providing help in treatment of generatively dystrophic diseases of spine at L5-S1 level or in case of necessity to carry out diagnostic discography at the same level.
