FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to control of automatic two-range gearbox. Proposed method comprises throwing in/out gearbox clutches. Gearshift is performed by means of electrohydraulic proportional valves in response to electronic control unit signals. Engine started, lower-range clutch is thrown in and left in gearbox neutral for transport facility at stand-by, starting, back and forth driving, driving at shifting all stages og lower range up and down without interrupting power flow. For higher speeds, upper range clutch is thrown in. Proposed device comprises also working fluid feed source, its pressure adjustment and supply appliances, working fluid filtration and cooling devices, clutch actuators, system of pickups, gearshift selector and electronic control unit. Every clutch is equipped with two-stage hydraulic proportional control valve. First stage incorporates electrohydraulic proportional valve. Second stage incorporates distributor control valve. Electronic control unit contains multichannel mocroprocess modulus.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, expanded operating performances.
