FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic transmission control method. After starting the engine and turning off the parking brake, the first gear or any other gear is activated in the command mode. Selected gear stays on permanently on "neutral" of transmission, at the beginning of movement from the point of inclusion of forward and reverse motion friction mechanisms and "forward-backward" manoeuvring, before gear shifting in command or automatic mode without power flow disruption, by means of on / off switching of friction mechanisms of gear shifting, without switching of forward and reverse motion friction mechanisms. Movement always begins at switched off friction mechanism of lock of hydraulic transformer. After acceleration is completed, the torque converter locking mechanism is engaged in case of low load and torque converter turbine shaft rate of rotation increase, under the condition of equality or close to the condition of equality of speeds of rotation of turbine shaft on the same gear with switched off and connected friction mechanism of locking of hydraulic transformer, by signal of speed sensor on turbine shaft, taking into account position of accelerator pedal or engine control handle. In case of high load, the torque converter friction mechanism is switched off at speed lower than the preset limit value, in compliance with the engine stable operating, engine shaft maximum speed limit taking into account the position of the decelerator pedal or the engine control handle. Automatic gear shifting is carried out under condition of equality or close to conditions of equality of velocities of turbine shaft of hydraulic converter on adjacent transmissions, with and without friction mechanism of lock-up of torque converter, by the speed sensor signal on the turbine shaft of the hydraulic transformer, with change of the engine shaft rotation speed and taking into account the position of the accelerator pedal or the engine control handle. Pressure signal in the boosters of the friction mechanisms is continuously monitored by a sensor signal, a failure code is generated and displayed. As the friction discs wear, the booster filling time is determined and the control program is corrected.

EFFECT: higher transmission reliability is achieved.
