SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass compositions used to produce sintered foamed glass. The material for producing glass is heat power industry wastes. The glass for producing foamed glass contains the following components in wt %: SiO₂ 49.97-58.98; Al₂O₃ 3.98-5.25; Fe₂O₃ 4.58-7.27; CaO 13.31-22.98; MgO 2.32-4.02; K₂O 0.30-0.53; Na₂O 6.31-16.29; TiO₂ 0.24-0.41. In another version of the invention, the material used is heat power industry wastes and reclaimed sand and the foamed glass contains the following component in wt %: SiO₂ 58.13-58.98; Al₂O₃ 3.98-5.01; Fe₂O₃ 4.58-6.47; CaO 13.31-19.81; MgO 2.32-3.46; K₂O 0.30-0.46; Na₂O 6.31-16.29; TiO₂ 0.24-0.36.

EFFECT: low cost and optimum temperature for melting and foaming glass.
