SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for washing of loose materials, including construction materials, tuberous roots, vegetables, parts, and may be used in building, food, sugar, alcohol, preserved food and other industries. A drum of the machine for washing of loose materials is made of guide elements arranged in the form of three rectangular perforated strips with perforated laps of rectangular shape for pockets, and strips are bent in turns towards opposite sides at the angle of 140° along cuts made at the angle of 60° to each other and to longitudinal edges of strips to form equilateral triangles along the strip length, and triangles are arranged in turns towards opposite sides. Strips are connected to each other along longitudinal edges at the angle of 70°, with formation of three broken helical grooves of the main direction and two broken helical grooves of the opposite direction along the inner perimetre, and three broken helical lines of the main direction and two broken helical lines of the opposite direction along the outer perimetre, in break points of which there are areas arranged where sides of six equilateral triangles meet. Pockets are made by connection of perforated laps of rectangular shape serially along broken helical lines of the main direction and are directed towards the drum rotation.

EFFECT: expansion of process resources due to simplification of manufacturing, simplified operation due to unavailability of slope, increased range of changes in vectors of movements and reorientation of loose materials particles, intensification of washing process.
