SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biocidal agents. The composition contains a combination of 4-bromo-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-5-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrrole-3-carbonitirile or salts thereof as a component (I) together with one or more biocidal compounds as a component (II), selected from (4-isopropylpyridinio)methyldiphenylboron, triphenylboropyridine, benzalkonium chloride, capsaicin, clonidine, fenazaquin, glutaraldehyde, menadione sodium bisulphate, menadione piperazine bisulphate, menadione triaminetriazine bisulphate, menthol or derivative thereof, N,N-bis(3-aminopropyl)dodecylamine, coco(fractionated)benzyldimethylammonium chloride, peracetic acid, pyridaben, tebufenpyrad and zosteric acid. Component (I) and one of components (II) are in proportions which provide a synergetic effect on fouling organisms.
EFFECT: invention improves the protective effect of materials from fouling and enables to disinfect ballast water.
