FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of amino acids and may be used and chemistry and pharmaceutics as well as in food industry. Proposed method comprises introducing initial solution containing amino acid and saccharoses into diluate sections of electrodialyser with alternating cation-exchange and bipolar membranes arranged between electrodes at pH of initial solution equal to pI of relevant basic amino acid. Note here that distilled water circulates in concentration chambers while sodium sulphate with concentration of 0.025 mol/dm3 is fed into electrode chambers. Note also that amino acid cations (or anions) formed in said diluate chambers are carried through cation (anion)-exchange membranes into concentration chambers while saccharoses stays in solution (diluate) flowing from desalination section.
EFFECT: production of amino acid cleared of carbohydrates.
