FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ore dressing and may be used in flotation dressing of gold-containing clay sands. Proposed method comprises preprocessing and flotation recovery of gold fine grains including addition of butyl potassium xanthogenate, foaming agent T-80 and reagent "FUZ". Preprocessing comprises grading clay sand to sizes with extraction of mineral fine fraction, while floatation recovery of gold fine grains includes adding vegetable sorbent modified by reagent "FUZ" as valuable component of oil-wetting and sorption activator. Sodium hydroxide is added to "FUZ" before modification of vegetable sorbent while butyl potassium xanthogenate and foaming agent T-80 are added after addition of vegetable sorbent modified by reagent "FUZ".
EFFECT: higher yield of gold.
