FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to concentration of minerals, in particular, to concentration by foam flotation. Method of flotation of gold-bearing ores includes grinding of initial ore, treatment of raw materials with reagents, introduction of supersaturated water vapor and air into the pulp in the form of an aerosol jet formed by turbulent mixing of their different-temperature cocurrent flows, flotation and removal of separation products. Prior to flotation, crushed ore is classified into sand and slurry fractions. Sand fraction is then treated with reagents – copper sulphate solution, potassium butyl xanthogenate and a foaming agent, followed by its flotation and extraction of a concentrate which is mixed with a slurry fraction treated with a copper sulphate solution. Further, the mixture is divided into at least two flows of equal weight of the solid fraction and flotation is carried out. Said flows are floated sequentially, directing concentrate of previous flow into next flow for combined flotation using different-temperature cocurrent flows of supersaturated water vapor and air. Air is preliminarily passed through a solution of laurylamine hydrochloride with concentration of 25 mg/l.
EFFECT: high degree of extraction and selectivity of separating minerals.
