FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing lateral edge of floor board with core. Two opposite edges of said panel are profiled to allow jointing together and locking two identical boards. Jointing and locking in horizontal and vertical directions is made by vertical jointing displacement. Locking in vertical direction if carried out by flexible element that moves horizontally. Flexible element is entirely made from board core. Flexible elements engages with locking edge. Locking edge extends horizontally. Flexible element is separated from core by vertical mortise. At least one of mortises is through and does not extend over entire length of lateral edge. Said stopped mortise is arranged to allow the board to move under tool in displacement direction. Tool is turned to penetrate into board core and to be withdrawn in opposite direction before board passes entirely under tool.
EFFECT: ruling out stringent matching tolerances.
