FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: beam for fixation of dry plaster sheets in a suspended ceiling is made of a metal strip, which is folded along its length. Section of the beam profile has a bulge in the upper part, a vertical single-layer wall diverging down from the bulge, and two shelves. The first shelf horizontally diverges as a cantilever from the lower part of the walls in the first direction. The second shelf horizontally diverges as a cantilever from the first shelf in the second direction, opposite to the first direction. Shelves are reinforced with bends that protrude downwards. Bends ensure retention of self-drilling screws for fixation of dry plaster sheets at shelves. There are grooves provided at the lower side of shelves, being directed upwards. The second shelf is fixed with the first shelf by means of a seam arranged along a wall. The first and second shelves diverge as cantilevers from the wall with the possibility of balancing the load at the beam from supported sheets of dry plaster in the suspended ceiling and possibility of application of this load in the wall plane.
EFFECT: reduced metal intensity.
