FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: output voltage of resonant direct current converter is controlled by changing the frequency of activations of input switching device of resonant circuit of converter on the basis of feedback signal of load circuit. Control mode with frequency modulation is used when operating frequency of electrical network is low, and control mode by means of frequency modulation plus pulse-width modulation when operating frequency of electrical network is too high. Also, resonant direct current converter intended to implement the proposed control method is proposed.
EFFECT: reducing operating frequency and losses in scheme during operation at low load or at no load.
