FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions represents a device for connection of rods for concrete reinforcement and a method for connection of rods for concrete reinforcement. The device comprises a chain of clamps from multiple connected clamps, a stem and a hammer. Each clamp has a seat to locate one rod and multiple hooks to locate the second rod. At least one hook has the upper body and at least one connection part. The hammer is installed into the stem and performs reciprocal motion in longitudinal direction inside the stem. The method provides usage of the specified device, with the help of which the chain of clamps enters in contact with a guide for clamps, the chain of clamps slides along the guide for clamps, the device for rods connection is coupled with two crossing rods, and the hammer performs reciprocal motion in the device stem.
EFFECT: inventions provide high-quality and quick connection of reinforcement rods.
