FIELD: mining engineering.
SUBSTANCE: towed outboard seismic equipment consists of vessel with hull with upper and lower decks, bottom, stem part equipped with stem transom, winches and input cables connected to seismic equipment made in form of seismographic braid and line of seismic pneumatic sources. A protective device for seismic equipment corresponds to an ice-protecting shield of a streamlined shape consisting of a water-proof part and of a pod of a closed structure; between its side walls there are arranged internal and external slips separated one from another with a partition. The ice-protecting shield is rigidly secured to the stem transom at angle to the latter and has a lower base at the level of the vessel hull bottom. The complex is equipped with auxiliary winches with cables for control over seismic equipment during seismic prospecting. The pod of the ice-protecting shield is furnished with ribs arranged on an internal slip along its lengthwise axis for dividing it into separate parts. A lower base of the ice-protecting shield is made in form of a stationary stabiliser. Winches and input cables connected to the seismic equipment are positioned on the lower deck of the vessel hull. The ice-protecting shield is equipped with a heating device for heating it during seismic prospecting, which facilitates its technical effect.
EFFECT: raised efficiency of complex operation due to increased operational reliability of seismic equipment, simplification of complex and reduced expenditures for re-equipment of vessel for seismic prospecting complex at operation in water areas covered with ice.
