FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to devices and methods for filling a medical instrument with a radioactive substance. The device comprises a syringe, a radiation shielding body incorporating the syringe, a shielding device for an end of a syringe piston projecting from the syringe and a receptor for a radioactive substance container. The body has a cover opening or locking the device and the container arranged on the body, and a hole for actuating the syringe piston. A system for filling the container contains said device, the radioactive substance container and the syringe. The method of filling with the radioactive substance involves the stages of syringe insertion in the device, placing of the container on the device and a kit of the radioactive substance in the syringe with applying the shielding device for the syringe piston.
EFFECT: use of the invention allows reducing radiation exposure of patients and medical personnel.
